1. Attend orientation: Attend the orientation program organized by the university to get acquainted with the campus, faculty members, rules, and regulations.  Orientation is an introduction,  to guide you in adjusting to your new learning surroundings. 

2. Set academic goals: Identify the goals that you want to achieve in terms of academics, and set a plan to achieve them. 

3. Manage your time: Learn to manage your time effectively by prioritizing your tasks and avoiding procrastination. 

4. Get involved in extracurricular activities: Participate in extracurricular activities like clubs, sports teams, volunteer programs, etc., to expand your network and make friends. 

5. Seek help: If you face any academic or personal difficulties, seek help from your academic advisors, professors, or counselors. 

6. Stay organized: Stay organized by keeping track of assignments, deadlines, and exams. 

7. Attend classes regularly: Attend classes regularly and take notes to stay on top of your studies.
